The UNESCO Chair Dr. Steven Shankman and Jana Zvibleman will be reading from their works at the Downtown Eugene Public Library on September 20th, 2023 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM PDT.

Dr. Shankman will also be presenting at an upcoming conference, entitled “Levinas Today,” from November 7-9th, 2023 in Vilnius, Lithuania. His talk will be on “Levinas and Vasily Grossman’s Stalingrad: War, Justice, and Acts of Senseless Kindness.” More details to come.
