Starting this Thursday, April 4th through Sunday, April 7th, The Chair is pleased to co-sponsor the Extra! Extra! Don’t Kill the Messenger: Migrating to Stay Alive Symposium. This symposium aims to foster listening and understanding through dialogue with international journalists, writers in exile, and journalism scholars. Dozens of global experts and partners will be at the University of Oregon campus to tell their stories of successful reporting despite extreme dangers and threats to their voice and journalistic integrity. This will be hosted in the Erb Memorial Union (EMU) Ballroom. Event themes and times are as follows:
