Inside-Out Course Coming Winter 2015

This coming Winter 2015, Professor Shankman will be teaching the first “Inside-Out” graduate course offered at the University of Oregon. The course is under the English Department, but other interested graduate students are encouraged to apply or to get into contact with Professor Shankman. Classes will take place on Thursday evenings near Salem in the Oregon State Correctional Institute.

The application process involves an interview and a security check by the Oregon Department of Corrections before the course begins.

Professor Shankman will be holding an informational session on Thursday, November 6th from 3:30-4:30 in PLC 159. If you are unavailable to attend this meeting, please email Professor Shankman to learn more about the course.
