BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – A year full of murky business dealings and unanswered questions became infinitely more horrifying for Buenos Aires newspaper Tiempo Argentino, when a gang of thugs attacked their building. Even worse, police at the scene of the crime helped the attackers escape and refused to help the staff.

The UO-UNESCO Crossings Institute investigates through interviews with Tiempo Argentino‘s Javier Borelli and digging deeper into the newspaper’s relationship with the current government.

This story was produced by Crossings research fellow Nathan Stevens.
